Description

A monolithic cross-head, type A1, which is roughly finished and completely plain. Base plain and trapezoid.

Discussion

Appendix A item (stones dating from Saxo-Norman overlap period or of uncertain date).

This could be part of a funerary monument, but its simple form renders any detailed discussion of its significance impossible.
