Description

Cross-head, probably of type B10. On A, C and D the ornament is framed by a roll moulding, on B by a double roll moulding.

A (broad): Cruciform head-pattern, type 2b, (Fig. 7), surrounded by spiral-scroll.

B (narrow): Relief decoration of unidentifiable type (possibly a vertical row of pellets).

C (broad): An encircled central boss is flanked by vestigial traces of spiral-scroll.

D (narrow): Possible traces of stopped-plait
