Description

The cover was of the coped type (G.I., fig. 4, g), with low vertical sides and a shallow roof-pitch.

Discussion

Appendix A item (stones dating from Saxo-Norman overlap period or of uncertain date).

The profile is similar to those of no. 15, and York, St Denys no. 2.
