Description
From a border of square section along the upper edge, and at right angles to it, emerge thick plant stems terminating in groups of leaves. Each leaf is narrow, round ended, and backward curling. The leaves are of concave section, the concavities being carried down the stem to give a reeded effect. The outer pair of leaves curls back first, followed by subsequent pairs, although the median leaf is straight. The irregular trimming of the lower edge has damaged some of the tips of the leaves. These stems alternate with shorter, rounded-ended stems, similarly reeded but without leaves.
