Description

'... also a part of one of the arms of a small cross, with interlacing work' (Wellbeloved 1881, 69).

Discussion

Appendix C item (lost stones for which no illustration has survived).

Not identifiable in the collections of the Yorkshire Museum, York, which inherited the holdings of the Philosophical Society. The cross-arms of unknown provenance in the museum (see Lang 1991, 113–14) do not match Wellbeloved's brief description.
