Measurements: L. 18 cm (7.1 in) W. 21 > 15 cm (8.2 > 5.9 in) D. 14 cm (5.5 in)
Stone type: Coarse-grained feldspathic, ferruginous sandstone with sub-rounded, well sorted grains. Yellow to brownish yellow (10YR 7/6–6/8). Stone provenance as Whitby 1 (abbey, St Peter and St Hilda)

Description
A (broad) : Part of the neck of a cross-head of type 10. At each side it has a plain modelled edge moulding, 1 inch wide.
B and D (ends) : Broken.
C (broad), E and F (upper and lower) : As face A.
Discussion
Part of the Plain Cross series, but with a single edge moulding.
