Stone type: Fine-grained cellular dolomitic limestone, colour (10YR 8/6). Cadeby Formation (Lower Magnesian Limestone), Upper Permian, found to the west of the settlement. [J.S.]

This is a slab dressed on both broad faces and more roughly finished on the sides. It has a large incised circle within which is a cross of type E8, also incised. The quality of the cutting is quite good.
