Appendix C item (lost stones for which no illustration has survived)
Wallis (1921, 11, followed by Edwards, B. 1989b, 34) lists two stones which cannot now be located:
'The stone immediately below' Whalley 5 (p. 249); this stone showed 'only the broken section'.
'The fragments which form the lintel of the chancel aumbry'.
