Description

Only one carved face is visible.

A (broad): Cross, type B8, in relief set in a plain panel.

Discussion

This may be a dedication or `station' cross, perhaps related to the squarish slabs with crosses in low relief, such as Darlington 5 and Aycliffe 17.
