Only one face is carved.
A (broad): Framed by a fine double-outlined border, possibly enclosing interlace. There are traces of an inscription, probably in Anglo-Saxon capitals, within the border and following its curve:

The wide double-outlined border could imply a circular shape. Not enough evidence survives for definite comment.
