Measurements: H. 25.4 cm (10 in); W. 21 cm (8.3 in); D. unknown
Stone type: Sandstone, fairly hard, very fine- to medium-grained (0.1 to 0.4 mm), greyish orange (10YR 7/4). Mainly sub-angular quartz. Mostly covered in whitewash. Grinshill Sandstone which is a variant of the Helsby or Bromsgrove Sandstone formations, part of the Sherwood Sandstone Group and middle Triassic in age.
