Cross-shaft, type h, with swag, type g; cross-head, probably type B9. The broad faces of the head and all sides of the rectangular shaft are bordered laterally by a roll moulding; there is no frame on the collar decoration, which consists of a continuous four-strand plain plait.
A (west, broad): On the head are the remains of cruciform head-pattern type 1 in the surviving lower arm (see Fig. 7). Below the roll moulding dividing the head from the shaft is a single panel containing the worn remains of interlace.
B (south, narrow): On the single panel are traces of interlace which Collingwood (1923a, 118) reconstructed as two rows of irregular free rings and long diagonals.
C (east, broad): On the head are the remains of cruciform head-pattern type 1 in the surviving lower arm (see Fig. 7). Below the roll moulding dividing the head from the shaft is a single panel containing the worn remains of a six-strand plain plait.
D (north, narrow): Single panel with double-stranded Como-braid.
