Three arms of the cross-head survive, type B8; the centre of the cross is large and circular.
A (broad): The background is finished with a fine diagonal tooling. At the base of each arm is a small rounded boss. In the centre of the head is a six petalled rosette set against a sunken background.
B and D (narrow): Plain.
C (broad): In the centre of the head is a six petalled rosette set against a sunken and pecked background.

Crosses of this type, with no edge mouldings and with short arms of the B8 type, are possibly post-Conquest, but may belong to a tradition which overlaps the Conquest (see also Cumwhitton 1). East of the Pennines such crosses occur with plate-heads (Cramp 1984, pls. 255, 258–9).
