Description

The arm expands in a broad curve and has a shallow convex curve at the end (type E6).

A (broad): The perimeter moulding is roughly cut. Within the panel is a symmetrical pattern, not interlace, but composed of formal vertical elements. The central one has a pair of terminal loops.

B and D (narrow): Plain.

C (broad): A plain perimeter moulding is marked by a deep incision. Within the panel is a raised roundel or flat boss with an outer moulding enclosing an incised saltire.

Discussion

Crude and out of the tradition of local ornament.
