Extensively bruised, but apparently unweathered
Description
Roughly broken behind and below, so that about half of the capital is lost; the ends of the volutes are also broken away. Otherwise, similar to Canterbury, K. (St Augustine's abbey) no. 3, though rather taller and narrower.
Discussion
Probably part of the same architectural scheme as Canterbury (St Augustine's Abbey) nos. 3–4, and of the same date.
