This is a pitched recumbent monument, but not enough of the roof survives to determine its type. The decorated surfaces are on the inclined pitches.
A (long) : The terminal loop of an interlace pattern remains in broad strand.
C (long) : A low relief fragment of terminal loop remains in a thinner strand than that of face A.
Possibly part of a hogback but more likely a coped grave-cover, it is not as ambitious as the hogbacks at nearby Brompton (nos. 16–26), but demonstrates the local taste for recumbent monuments. It is unusual to have interlace patterns on the roof pitches.
