Description

The edge moulding is plain and broad. At one end the undecorated border is deep. The panel contains closely woven closed circuit interlace in median-incised strand.

Discussion

Appendix C item (lost stones for which no illustration has survived).

The dense interlace is typical of Anglo-Scandinavian carvings in the North Riding.
