The ridge has a square section and its top carries a step fret pattern without flanking mouldings.
A (long) : The roof pitch is steeply curved and covered with horizontal interlace in broad, flat strand cut with a punch. The pattern is closely woven three-cord plait. The eaves have a roll moulding. Below, the side continues the pitch of the roof and has faint traces of interlace. Patterns terminate at one end.
B (end) : Damaged, but on the end of the gable is the representation of a kingpost running from the crest to a transverse strip at eaves level. [1].

This is a transition between types k and i, the enriched shrine and house varieties (Lang 1984a, 101).
