Description

Rectangular; the socket hole is set across the oblong plan. There is no ornament except for possible traces of mouldings on the upper surface.

Appendix A item (stones dating from Saxo-Norman overlap period or of uncertain date).

Undecorated cross-bases like this are difficult to date.
