One arm of a free-armed cross-head with an irregular ending, of type A9 or B9. Collingwood (1915a, 198, fig. c) reconstructed it with an adjacent arm of type A9. The face appears to have been edged by a flat moulding.
A (broad): The face has a single register of half pattern E with included terminals. Collingwood's drawing suggests a more rounded strand than on Kildwick 7.
B and D (narrow): No surviving illustration
C (broad): From the photograph in Brigg (1908, 170) it appears to have a similar ornament to face A.
The isolated pattern element filling the whole of the end of the arm on both faces looks like a late feature.
