A (broad): Surrounded by a roll moulding outlined by a fine pick. In the centre of the face is a small linear cross, type A1, deeply cut with a chisel.
C (broad) and B, D and E (narrow sides and top): Smoothly dressed.
Appendix A item (stones dating from Saxo-Norman overlap period or of uncertain date).
This could be seen as a head- or foot-stone, but its very unworn condition is remarkable. It does not conform to any recognized pre-Conquest type.
