Stone type: Inaccessible, but apparently a yellowish limestone, fairly soft and including fossil shells, perhaps ostreids, of 3–5 mm diameter; possibly from Inferior Oolite Group, Middle Jurassic of Cotswolds, or from Corallian Beds, Upper Jurassic, from east of Oxford
