Description

The ridge and ends are lost.

A (long) : Three rows of type 2c tegulae cover a straight roof pitch. Below the eaves the vertical side has bold median-incised interlace in pricked work. A panel encloses the terminals of closed circuit six-cord plait, median-incised, whose other end is broken.

C (long) : Remains of one row of tegulae, but most of the face has been lost.

Discussion

A type k hogback; see Lythe 17 (St Oswald). The hollowed surface underneath may be original, but compare Lythe 25 (St Oswald) below.
