Two fragments forming part of a string-course, set in outer face of north aisle arcade, at the west end. Said to be 'decorated with simple interlaced ornament' (Taylor and Taylor 1965); both carved with straight-line patterns, that to the east with a diagonal lattice in high relief, that to the west with three rows of zig-zag in relief between moulded borders. Twelfth century.
